Looking for a safe place to talk, listen, and feel less alone?
The KindnessRX Mental Health Support Group is a free, online peer support group for adults navigating anxiety, depression, emotional exhaustion, and the everyday weight of mental health challenges. You do not need a diagnosis, a referral, or insurance to join.
Our group meets every Wednesday at 7:30 PM EST via Zoom. All are welcome.

What to Expect in Our Sessions
Each session is facilitated by a trained peer support volunteer who guides the conversation with warmth and structure. Sessions are not therapy — they are a space to share, listen, and feel understood. You can speak as much or as little as you like. Many members find it helpful simply to listen and know they are not alone.
Topics often include managing anxiety, coping with low motivation, dealing with isolation, and finding small moments of hope. Every session is different because every group is different — and that is what makes it meaningful.
What This Group Is Not
This is a peer support group, not a clinical service. Our facilitators are not licensed therapists or counselors. We do not provide diagnoses, treatment plans, or crisis intervention. If you are in crisis or need immediate help, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988, or visit your nearest emergency room.
KindnessRX peer support is designed to complement — not replace — professional mental health care. Many of our members attend while also working with a therapist or counselor.
Why Peer Support Works
Research consistently shows that peer connection reduces feelings of isolation, builds resilience, and improves mental well-being. When you hear someone else describe exactly what you have been feeling, something shifts. You feel less broken and more human. That is the power of peer support — and it is available to you, free of charge, every week.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to talk during the session?
No. You are always welcome to simply listen. Many members find great comfort in attending without speaking, especially in their first few sessions. There is no pressure to share anything you are not ready to share.
Is this support group really free?
Yes — completely free. No insurance, referral, or credit card is required. Simply register and join.
Can I join if I am already seeing a therapist?
Absolutely. Peer support is designed to complement professional care, not replace it. Many members attend our group in addition to individual therapy and find the two work well together.
