Meet Greg Shaw
Founder of KindnessRX | Author of The Kindness Compass | Podcast Host | Lived Experience Advocate

I’m someone who’s been through the storm and still believes in kindness. I live with treatment-resistant depression, ADHD, PTSD, chronic pain, a traumatic brain injury, and lymphedema. I’ve tried dozens of medications, gone through TMS and ECT, and Iโm currently in my third round of ketamine therapy. Healing hasnโt been linearโbut I believe in showing up, even when itโs hard.
Through it all, kindness has been my compass. Itโs what led me to study the science of healingโneuroscience, psychology, trauma recoveryโand combine it with what Iโve lived through to create spaces of support and belonging for others. Iโve worked in management, run my own businesses, and poured my heart into creative work like writing The Kindness Compass and hosting the Creative Work Hour podcast.
What Iโve learned is this: kindness isnโt just about being nice. Itโs a radical act of survival, of connection, of hope. And itโs for everyoneโincluding you.
